WHAT IS THE COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY AFFINITY LENDING PROGRAM?
The Columbia University Affinity Lending Program is a program coordinated and sanctioned by the University designed to provide mortgage services to its Faculty and Staff at more competitive rates and terms than conventional lending institutions. Since ICC Mortgage Services is a direct lender and not a Mortgage Broker there are no intermediaries which means there are No Mortgage Broker Fees which can make obtaining a mortgage more affordable. .
How is ICC Mortgage Services different from other lenders?
ICC Mortgage Services utilizes both Federally Insured Programs as well as Commerical Funding Sources to provide custom mortgage solutions to Columbia Faculty and Staff... Unlike many lenders, ICC Mortgage Services reviews each mortgage application on-site and makes each credit decision on-site allowing for complex and unique scenarios which are commonplace with the purchasing and refinancing of real estate in the New York Metropolitan Area. We pride ourselves in striving for perfection in customer service. We will take your application at your convenience whether it be in person, via Internet, mail, fax or courier if necessary. We have had loan approvals delivered to our clients while they were travelling in remote parts of the world. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to address every question and concern that a Faculty Member or Staff member may have. You will NEVER reach an automated system when requesting the status of your mortgage application. We will hold your hand(s) from the moment you consider possibly purchasing a new home to the day at the closing where you are given the keys to your new home. . .
WILL I HAVE TO DEAL WITH MANY DIFFERENT PEOPLE DURING THE PROCESS?
NO. You will have a designated Credit Officer that will work with you from start to finish. IS THIS PROGRAM AVAILABLE TO ALL FACULTY/STAFF AT COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY?
YES. It is available to all Faculty and Staff whether you work in the Medical Center, Teach, worki in Administration or any other area of the Unversity. This program is also available to the faculty and staff of Affiliate Hospitals of Columbia University Medical Center. This program is NOT available to contractors NOT employed by Columbia University or it's Affiliates.
